  • A complex organic coffee that is sweet and vibrant with floral overtones
  • Ethiopia Limu
  • Ethiopia is known as the birthplace of coffee and it has been grown there for thousands of years. During this time a huge number of exciting and delicious varietals have naturally emerged, many of which remain undocumented.
  • This is an Ethiopian heirloom coffee and these typically represent a mixture of wild varietals which produce a cup unlike anything else in the world. It has a sweet, balanced fragrance with complex flavours of peach, rose water and orange blossom which deliver a truly unique taste experience.
  • Making the Perfect Cup
  • This coffee has been processed using the 'washed' method. The fruit is hand sorted to guarantee perfect ripeness. The beans are then soaked in clean water for 12 hours and dried for up to 14 days in the sun on raised drying beds before they are carefully hand sorted again to ensure the perfect drying environment. This produces a complex coffee full of flavour that is representative of quality Ethiopian coffees.
  • The green beans are then hand roasted in small batches in our 12kg Probat roaster in our London Fields roastery. We use a combination of art and science to bring out the best flavours each coffee has to offer.
