Value for money, but needs helping along
Provides a good basis for a sweet/sour chicken, but I add more sliced peppers, bamboo shoots and fresh pineapple. The latter give extra "bite" as frankly the sauce is a bit gungy and needs lifting
Nice taste but could do with more pineapple to give it a bit more sour taste if they did this I would give it 5 stars
Excellent taste & value. Had this tonight with chi
Excellent taste & value. Had this tonight with chicken & rice, it was full of vegetables with a great sweet & sour taste. It is what it says on the jar! Will definitely order again.
Throw in some veg and this will do a stir fry for three people. A very cheap & convenient meal.
Great value, proper taste.
Bought for the first time last week and used today. This is quite an authentic sweet 'n sour in my opinion, not messed about with unnecessary ingedients like some others, not too sweet as some others are and really good value. I will be buying another jar tonight.
Really good for the price!
I actually prefer using this sauce. I use ready made noodles (to save time) and the slightly watery consistency of the sauce allows the noodles to cook slightly longer. Frankly taste wise it’s no different from other brands. Can’t complain about the price either!
It appears watery but does not detract from the taste. I have to say that it actually allowed the flavor of the rice and mixed Veg to taste through it so they must have the recipe right! Will buy again as you cant beat the price.
It is a bit watery but you just simmer it longer without the lid. The flavour is more subtle but that's why prefer it to branded, no heart burn. For the 52p price tag it's still a great sauce. Cheap and cheerful dinner option.
Full of vegetables
Absolutely brilliant for the money great taste big chunks of veggies my son dips his chips in it instead of ketchup
