This seemed to have been bulked out with water. No taste of potato or cheese!
Where was the cheese .never tasted any at all
Nothing cheesy about it! I always add my own grated cheese once it's cooked and stir it in and then it is better but a real faff!
Really enjoyed this with sausages and beans yummy
Cheese-less and bland without extras
I've had to go to soft foods while I'm awaiting a dentist appointment couldn't be bothered to make something so picked up some of these, thinking it'd be alright. I was super disappointed by the severe lack of cheese! and even taste. Yes I could make my own easily but I wanted a very quick meal with zero washing up required. You can make it better by adding to it, so I had some philly in the fridge, added a dollop of that with some sweet chilli sauce and it's no longer super bland but was hoping for some cheesy mash once cooked :D Basically you can save it if you have any ingredients in your fridge/cupboard that could spice it up, but it shouldn't be sold as cheesy mash!
This is very tasty but to oven it, it says peel ba
This is very tasty but to oven it, it says peel back the film to stir halfway through. Well the film is not peelable without breaking into bits and can easily burn your fingers trying.
This used to be a regular purchase but the quality has rapidly gone down hill. Good luck trying to find the cheese! Not worth buying any more. Do Tesco actually read these reviews?
Sorry to say that this was disgusting. No taste of cheese and just a slimy mess on the plate. Very disappointed and will not buy again. Avoid.
Nobody move - someone has stolen the cheese!
I love cheesy mash. I'd never seen it on the Tesco page before, probably because I usually go from my favourites list to save time, but, when I came across it in a 'mash search' I was so excited that I ordered two. Tonight I had a bowl for my main meal....and it was just a bowl of mash. I have plain mash in the freezer and like others have said, I did check and recheck to make sure I'd picked the right one out. Sadly, no mistake, and no cheese. I'll just have to go back to my normal method of adding small pieces of mature cheese to the normal mash for the last 2 minutes in the microwave then stirring it all in before eating. Very disappointing Tesco.
