Preparation and Usage

Step 1 For an even streak free tan, ensure your skin is clean, exfoliated and free of any moisturisers.
Step 2 Apply evenly and liberally to face and body with a tanning mitt. Use sparingly on knees and elbows.
Step 3 Skin may be washed after one hour. For a longer lasting darker tan leave lotion on skin for up to 6 hours. Shower with warm water and gently pat skin dry. For the deepest tan re-apply Bondi Sands Self Tanning Lotion 30 minutes after initial application.

WARNING: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
If swallowed, seek medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre immediately. Stop using this product if you develop irritation, redness or itching. If the product enters the eyes, wash out thoroughly with plenty of clean water.

I've used tanning lotions for about 27 years and have never used one that works so well and maintains great and even color. The instructions say to apply with a mitt. I've never used a mitt with any tanning product as it feels a bit out of my control so I skipped those instructions and was horrified when I discovered the product has a color guide (super helpful, btw) and my hands were all black. Too late to do anything about it so I went ahead and applied the lotion. I am so very happy to say that everything washed off my hands and there was no trace of color on my palms at all. I was very impressed: a product that offers great coverage and color and won't stain your hands. This is my new favorite. The only thing that weighed in on the con side is that scent-wise I've used better products. This smells a bit like coconut at first but then changes after some time. Totally worth it to me.

This is my favorite product! The foams are great too but tent to accentuate dry patches, whereas the lotion moisturizes everything and makes it more even. The dark color is perfect if I do it two nights in a row!
