Keep refrigerated. Once opened use within 2 days, taking care not to exceed the use by date. If freezing, freeze on day of purchase and use within one month.Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use and consume within 24 hours. This product may have been previously frozen & defrosted under controlled conditions.

Microwave

Instructions: (Based on 800w oven). Remove all packaging including casing and clips. Evenly slice, place on a microwavable dish, cover with cling film, pierce film and heat on full power for 2 minutes. Carefully remove the film due to hot steam, break up the haggis with a fork, return to the microwave for a further 30 seconds. Allow to stand for 30 seconds before serving.

Boil

Instructions: Still in the casing, wrap the haggis in tin foil and place in a pan of simmering water for 30-35 minutes, add more boiling water if required.

Cooking Instructions

Instructions: Important - This is a raw product and must be fully cooked prior to consumption.Always ensure that the centre of the haggis is piping hot before serving. As all appliances may vary, these are guidelines only. Do not reheat.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: Remove all packaging including casing and clips. Slice into 8-10 equal slices as required, lightly oil a pan and bring to a medium heat, fry for 4-5 minutes, turning frequently.

Box. Recycle

CAUTION: Whilst every care has been taken to remove all bones there is a slight chance some small ones may remain.
