Preparation and Usage

  • You will need:
  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 150g golden syrup
  • 25x20cm tin
  • 1 Preheat the oven to (190°C / 170°C Fan / Gas Mark 5) and line a tin with non stick baking paper. Melt the butter and golden syrup together in a large bowl, then combine well with the entire flapjack mix.
  • 2 Tip the mix into the tin and level out with a spoon.
  • 3 Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden. Remove and leave to cool in the tray for 5 minutes. Cut into portions while still warm.
  • And there you have it - Delicious Bran & Coconut Flapjacks!

  • To customise:
  • Stir in a handful of dried fruit or chocolate pieces to the mix to add lovely texture and extra flavour.
  • Once baked, drizzle with melted chocolate or caramel for an extra luxurious touch. Deliciously indulgent!
