Product Description

  • Irish Whiskey
  • The Tullamore distillery established in 1829, became home to a man of legendary status - Daniel E. Williams. He perfected a whiskey of exceptional quality, character and smoothness that was good enough to bear his initials, D.E.W.
  • Tullamore D.E.W. is the original blended Irish whiskey. An embracing of all three types of Irish whiskey - golden grain, pot still and malt.
  • Whilst triple distillation guarantees the ultimate smoothness, using 3 types of whiskies brings complexity and depth. Ageing this unique blend for many years in Oloroso Sherry and Old Bourbon oak casks brings out a character and flavour that continues to win awards year after year.
  • Tullamore D.E.W is superb drunk on it's own, with ice or with a mixer. Try Cloudy Apple Juice or Ginger Ale over ice in a tall glass
  • Tasting notes
  • Nose: Light sweet citrus and green apple combined with vanilla undertones
  • Taste: Early fresh fruit leads to a definite light spice followed by some toasted wood which evolves into a delicious vanilla sweetness.
  • Finish: Medium length, buttery mellowness with a touch of marzipan accompanying the lingering vanilla
  • Triple distilled
  • Distilled, matured and bottled in Ireland
  • Pack size: 70cl
