Far too salty.
Far too salty.
Not good anymore
This used to be nice, now it seems full of water and falls apart easily when cutting, also burns more sticking to the pan, why change a good product, won’t be buying.
Perfectly good halloumi, never had a bad batch yet. Great fried, grilled, in a bun, in a wrap, with grain, versatile. Very close to the halloumi eaten in Cyprus.

Melted to the grill pan and just fell to pieces when trying to turn it - had to be scraped into the bin!
Excellent. Love it
Gone off cheese
This smells like vomit!!! I brought 2 packs and they were both off and stink!! I have halloumi a hundred times and this is not it!
BE AWARE, CONTAINS COWS MILK.
THIS CHEESE CONTAINS COWS MILK. NOT TRUE HALLOUMI, WHICH IS SHEEPS AND GOATS MILK.

Smells like vomit
Normally this is fine. But this batch was absolutely horrible. Smelt like vomit when cooking and tasted a bit like it too.
Perfectly acceptable halloumi; I buy regularly.
Is this gourmet halloumi? Probably not, it's Tesco own brand. And Tesco aren't cheese experts. They have, however, sourced a perfectly acceptable squeaky, salty, rubbery, halloumi which - correctly! - does not melt. If your halloumi melts, something has gone wrong. If you like halloumi cheese, no reason not to get this one; if you don't like halloumi cheese, probably best to avoid buying any. (If you haven't tried it yet: give it a go! But don't be surprised if it's salty and doesn't melt.)
