Yay! Sustainable Palm Oil!
This peanut butter is by far the nicest I have bought for a long time. No oil separation to contend with which is ideal because we keep our pb in the fridge. Yes it contains palm oil, but it is sustainably sourced! Yay! What many people don't realise is that, palm oil can be collected sustainably from the palm without chopping the whole tree down! Chopping the tree down to harvest the fruit is the problem. Crop rotation means that more forest space is cleared to make way for more palm farms. I have seen it first hand & the scale is terrifyingly huge. Buy sustainable palm oil. A boycott is not a panacea, it will just push the cheap production of some other detrimental plant.
HATE IT, NOT THE SAME AS THE ONE PACKED IN GLASS C
HATE IT, NOT THE SAME AS THE ONE PACKED IN GLASS CONTAINER, ANNOYING BECAUSE ITS THE SAME BRAND AND NAME D:<
palm oil instead of peanut why?
why no peanut oil?
Best PB around!
Best PB around! Nutty, smooth, perfect in everything. What more could you want!
Contains palm oil - it really doesn't need to. Other brands have 100% peanuts.
Contains palm oil
This has palm oil in and there is no need for anything other than peanuts in peanut butter!
Palm Oil added to peanut oil - epic fail
contains added palm oil - why??? no oil required, should just be nuts. Don't be fooled by the brand name Whole Earth
Best PB I've tried
I absolutely love this peanut butter. Without doubt the best I've tried. No, it's not 100% peanuts as the 1* review says but it doesn't claim to be, so that review is very unfair. Adding a little oil gives a smoothness and mellows the clagginess compared with brands that use 100% peanuts I feel. It's a personal preference thing. The oil in this is sustainable palm oil which is actually one of the most eco friendly of oils despite what Iceland will try and tell you.
It's not 100% peanuts
I thought it was all peanuts. Gutted when I read the ingredients. My fault but there's absolutely no need to add any oil to peanuts for any reason whatsoever.
