Great value.
Great value.
Tasty
Tasty and slightly crunchy. I don't like crunchy (raw) vegetables as a rule but this is lovely. Don't over cook it. Enough for two people.
So nice to have a different vegetable
1yes it was of great quality
Mangetout? We couldn't eat any of them.
Being a sad soul, I normally go round the mangetout with a sharp knife, taking the string off the outside of each pod but time restraints meant that last night we had them as they came. Oh, heavens, they were terrible. All you got was a mouth full of string so instead of 'mange-ing tout' we ate now't! Don't waste your money.
so bad
this mangetout is very bad, I had to throw it away
Tough chinese rubbish
These were big and tough. I threw most of them away. Also, they came from China! How can that make sense if we are trying to save the planet? Only got because it was home delivery - I would never have picked them myself.
Fresh...All the way from China - Madness!
We were amazed and disappointed to see that these have travelled all the way from China. Surely this cannot be right at the best of times - what happens to Tesco's environmental claims?
Different ways to cook with mangetout
Yes it was lovely and fresh and is great in our home made curry and also if you steam with broccoli and runner beans and then just finish gently in a large frying pan with butter its delicious
Where does Tesco’s import it from??????
I was appalled when I read on the packaging that they had come from CHINA. Under the current circumstances I don’t think that will prove to be very popular. I binned mine straight away and will check carefully next time I order any vegetables or fruit.
