Excellent quaffing wine
Review from tesco.com
A good drinking wine for the price, also great with most food. I found I really enjoyed this wine even though it lacked subtlety. I bought a couple of bottles thinking that at a fiver a bottle it might be ok but was surprised by its superb flavour. Not smooth, though that suits me, but full-bodied and it now goes on my list of favourite quaffing wines.
Old Vines Good News
Review from tesco.com
I have a simple formula -old vines wine are generally firstly good quality and secondly often good value. So it is with this Spanish garnacha, it's on my favourites list, try it!
Just nice
Review from tesco.com
Nice fruity bold wine that is fine for most occasions, not subtle or refined but goes with most food or better another bottle at that price
Inexpensive rural.
Review from tesco.com
Spain, always a good source of inexpensive reds, is having a revival of finding often old and even disused plantings of Garnacha . Some (more expensive) examples are out standing whereas this is quite rural, maybe even coarse. But it should be judged at its price point and even at its unsupported price it makes a drinkable red, probably best with food to offset its lack of smoothness. Barely three stars as a stand alone judgement but scraping four at five pounds a bottle.
Great Wine
Review from tesco.com
Any wine label that indicates the grapes have been picked from 'Old Vines' suggests to me that the fruit will be fully ripened and bursting with intense flavour and this is exactly what you get in this very reasonably priced wine.If you like Shiraz you'll love this Garnacha.
If you like tannin you may like this.....

..... but we thought it rather unpleasant. A cooking wine.
Fabulous quaffing wine
Review from tesco.com
If you want a wine for drinking with meals in the week or as a guaranteed choice for visitors which always delivers this has been our favourite for many months. Fabulous value at only £5 it stands up well against many more expensive wines. My tip is stock up your cellar, under the stairs, garage or wherever and always have a great wine for any occasion.
Great value for money

Consistently reliable for every day drinking. One of our standby wines to always have in the rack.
The best value wine out there!
Review from tesco.com
I tried this wine at this years wine festival, and immediately loved it, and when I saw that the price was £5 a bottle (-15%) I bought three crates! It is such a lovely wine, rounded, flavoursome but somehow not heavy...... I am expecting this wine to be out of stock soon, and or, the price to climb as popularity grows.
