Spirit vinegar used far too often
This is another victim of the penny pinching habit of not using malt vinegar. This spirit vinegar is artificially made and is far too spur and burning. Look out for pickles made with malt vinegar.
Have always loved this but it used to be rich and creamy but the last couple of jars were very vinegary and too sharp : what has happened ? If this jar is also vinegary I shall not be buying again.

We’ve used this product sine I was a boy, now married for 49 years we still love it. My wife is a celiac and it’s one of the foods she can eat without causing problems. One of Hienz excellent products.

Used to be lovely and creamy with lots of crunchy veg - now far too vinegary and not at all palatable.
The content has gone down over the past year or so
The content has gone down over the past year or so. Less veg and more thinner mayonnaise. It has been a firm favourite of mine since childhood (I am now 80) the flavour is still quite good - I presume it is a matter of cost cutting but if it continues to get thinner I will just use mayonnaise. I love it mixed with tuna.
