Storage

Cooking Instructions

Oven cook
Instructions: This recipe is made with some raw ingredients and isn't suitable for microwaving, so please follow these cooking instructions carefully.
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C fan/ gas mark 7. (Be careful not to grill by mistake!)
2. Remove the film but leave the meatballs al forno in its wooden tray*. Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven and cook for 35 minutes.
3. Leave to stand for 2 minutes before serving. Make sure it's piping hot throughout.
*Our wooden trays are designed for the oven. Just make sure they aren't placed close to any element or flame.

Great meatballs

I've eaten meatballs several times and these are the best. There's something very satisfying knowing that they use quality ingredients that even my nan would recognise .... as opposed to ingredients 15 letters long. I'll buy this again.

Tasteless

Absolutely tasteless very poor expected a lot more by other recent reviews wouldn't buy it again expected it to very moorish ,was very plain and very bland.

Not available when I order on-line

Tried this for first time last night - huge success - clean plates all round - delicious and serving plenty for 2 - would recommend. Charlie's meals may be a bit more expensive but having tried several now they defo worth the extra price

Best ready meal we've had in years

Fed up of cooking every single meal during lockdown, my husband and I tried this ready meal. We are usually disappointed by ready meals finding them tasteless and lacking in the meat department, but this was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be buying more of the Charlie Bigham's range.

Outstanding pasta meal

A super meal. The meatballs are of top quality and taste, with a special added spicy flavouring, and the pasta with sauce equally flavoursome in a slightly different way. Plenty of food for two people, and my favourite CB meal.

Recommended by a friend, bought this on offer, my son loves meatballs, this was delicious we thoroughly enjoyed sharing it. My son said I should write a review he's 7! He said no offence mummy but it's better than yours and I agree. I don't do ready meals but I will now. Superb thank you!

Strong, slightly tart tomato flavour.

There was nothing wrong with this meal. My personal taste though for me the sauce was too strong tomato flavour. If you like strong, slightly tart, tomato flavour then you'll love this. I also added extra cheese...grated parmisan.

Great dish but only buy if on offer

Tastes really nice but unless you've small appetites, it is more for 1 person or you will need to bulk it out with side dishes. Unless its on offer, you can make it yourself more cheaply.

Delicious Meatball Al Forno

It was delicious. My husband emailed the company. We did have a few thin noodles as well. Shall definitely buy it again.
