Instructions: Remove outer packaging, leave chicken in the foil tray and dispose of packagingcarefully. Always wash hands, surfaces and utensils thoroughly after contactwith raw meat.Oven:Place foil on a baking tray and in the centre of a pre-heated oven and cook for40 minutes per kg plus 20-30 minutes, basting occasionally (refer to guidelineson front of label). Cover with foil towards end of cooking time if skin isbecoming too brown. Allow to stand for 5-10 minutes before carving.Caution: Take care when removing the chicken from the oven as there will besome juices within the foil tray.Not suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Allappliances vary, these are guidelines only. Check food is piping hot throughoutbefore serving. Poultry is cooked if the juices run clear when the deepest partof the flesh is pierced with a thin skewer. If they are pink, continue cookinguntil they run clear.

Storage

Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the refrigerator.Ensure the bird is completely defrosted by checking there are no ice crystals in the body cavity and the legs are flexible. Defrost thoroughly before use. Once defrosted - do not refreeze.Follow the preparation guidelines above.
