Tastes like wallpaper. Very dry
Tiny slices suitable only for The Borrowers
Staggeringly small loaf of bread. The height of it is much smaller than a standard teaspoon and there are just ten slices per pack. There's a crazy amount of packaging too to make it look like it's more than it is. It tastes good toasted but each slice is just two bites and gone. I got a voucher saying 'free loaf of bread' and yet it ended up only being discounted rather than free. I honestly could not ever justify paying this for a smaller than small loaf of bread.
Not bad, but very expensive, got a free voucher.

Excellent Product
It toasts really well and does not spike my blood sugar so I don't want to eat the whole loaf all at once as I do with 'normal' bread. The price is high, but worth it if you only have 2 slices a day.
Really delicious.
Also uses sourdough for rising. There is some yeast but it may be different from the usual bread yeast
Contains poppy seeds
New recipe contains poppy seeds. I have an allergy to poppy seeds so very sad I won’t be buying this anymore. Apart from that it’s the best gluten free bread on the market
I am sorry but I preferred the original wholesome
I am sorry but I preferred the original wholesome seeded loaf, the new softer loaf was nice but did not support the "spreads" etc. which I put on it. Thanks AA
Try it. You will never regret.
Very good taste & soft in consistency- both the white & the seeded. Good without toasting and even better when toasted-it becomes crispy & crunchy. At the top of gluten-free bread. The quality is as good as the regular Loaf made with wheat flour. Can't tell that it is gluten-free.
The only make I buy
Schar is the only gluten free bread I like and I've been buying this seeded loaf for some years, also the white when seeded isn't available. True, the slices are small but it's very much like ordinary bread and I enjoy it. Occasionally I've found a loaf to be a little dry but if you pop a couple of slices in the microwave and heat on high for 15-20 seconds then leave to cool, it just refreshes them and makes them a little softer and moister. Don't heat for too long though or it has the opposite effect, the slices will be dry and a little hard, you might need to experiment.
Tasty
Having to change how I eat due to food intolerances and diverticulosis. This bread is lovely. Quite small slices, but dense, reminds me of a malt loaf. This is my new favourite bread!
