Preparation and Usage
ApplyDo not stretch the tape. Secure it with a flat tool or roller.PaintFrogTape® is designed to work with emulsion paint.RemoveFor best results, remove immediately after painting. Do not wait for the paint to dry completely.Practical Advice:- Freshly painted surfaces*- For use on freshly painted surfaces (*dried for at least 24 hours), most coated wallpapers/treated wood/new plastered walls (dried and sealed)/veneer/laminate/vinyl and to create paint effects. Can be repositioned easily. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.- Before painting, FrogTape® can be applied up to 60 days. It is UV resistant and can be applied in direct sunlight.- Remove immediately. If pain has dried, score the edges of the tape with a blade before removing. Remove slowly, folding the tape almost all the way onto itself.- If the tape begins to lift or pull off the surface, it probably means that you have masked a poorly bonded surface; try using a hairdryer to soften the tape's adhesive.- Protect the edge of your FrogTape® by storing the unused portion in this canister.Important:- Even low adhesion tapes can damage some very delicate surfaces, so for complete compatibility test before use on all surfaces.- Coated wallpaper†- †Wallpaper finishes can vary, we would not recommend FrogTape® for use with uncoated wallpapers.- Use only on clean dry surfaces.- Allow paint to fully dry (not just touch dry) for at least 24 hours before applying FrogTape® as humidity, paint colour and number of coats may affect curing time.
