Not real Skyr. Try other brands for the real taste
Arla market this as Icelandic style yogurt. Which it is most certainly not. Presumably to make it more attractive to people trying it. It tastes fine as a slightly sour yoghurt, but it tastes nothing like Skyr. Good Skyr is actually much more similar to a soft cheese and should say so on the label. If you try the Aldi version or that in Waitrose, I think you will be surprised at the taste difference. I certainly was. This is Yogurt in a Skyr wrapper.
I Recommend it
It Looks set yet very thick, and tastes yummy
Yummy Icelandic style yogurt
A thick and creamy tasting yogurt that's packed with protein but has zero fat. Great for cooking and smoothies, but a bit too thick for my morning muesli. Remember that all the packaging (except the film) can be recycled. That includes the easy peel cardboard label.
Tastes delicious! great if you are trying to loose weight as 0 points on weight watchers and it tastes like a treat!
Porridge topper, with fruit!
Tasty and fat free - use on top of porridge with fruit on top of that!
Amazing, yummy. Thick, creamy. 0% fat.
Amazing. Yummy. Pure, thick, creamy. Since buying this I no longer need fresh cream. ALWAYS have it in my fridge. Excellent of trying to lose weight as 0% fat.
Very thick and lovely taste.
I don't know why I haven't tried this before! Excellent natural tasting yoghurt, I normally buy fat free greek yoghurt, but its expensive for the authentic ones. This is just as tasty and healthy too.
My current favourite
Friend bought this for me, and its really good! Only other competitor for taste is Onken, and that only when its the higher fat content. So this wins out, and is my current favourite, tastes great and also very healthy. You can put it on most things, and it will make them better. I put it on pasta, noodles, even pies ... works for me!
Delicious and fat free
Love this stuff. Creamy and thick but fat free. I lost 20lbs having this for breakfast with banana, honey and a scattering of granola. Also useful for adding to curry sauces. Love also that every bit of the packaging can be recycled.
