Preparation and Usage

  • Use quantity of Baking Powder as stated in your recipe.
  • Always use a dry spoon and close lid after use.
  • Can be mixed with plain flour as an alternative to self-raising flour. Use 3 level teaspoons of Baking Powder to 225g (8oz) of plain flour.

Used for Victoria sandwich, which is now back to near perfection. Had to make do with soda tartar mix with a result more like biscuit with air in it.

Received 19th June and Best before date was June 2020 so just 10 days in date for a product that would normally be o.k. for several months. I was not advised of any short dates on my receipt. No impressed.
