Always good- finely minced and pairs well with anything you could possibly use meatballs with. I have them in bagels with Emmental cheese or with a sauce with spaghetti
Lovely tasty meetballs
We have been enjoying Tesco meatballs for a few months now. We like the taste. They have enough seasoning for us If you added the spiciness that everyone seems to crave for then we wouls top buying them.
Not great
No taste really to them, won’t buy again. Tesco used to do Mediterranean meatballs and they were lovely
Shame about the fat lumps
Taste ok generally but I've found these to be really inconsistent from batch to batch, I've week I can have no problems and they are great, other packets have lots of rock hard fat lumps in them that you can't do anything other than spit out. It's like eating fish and worrying about finding a bone so I find in slowly chewing these incase I come across a disgusting fat lumps. Makes me think they are chucking all sorts I rubbish in these, gross !
Very juicy
Very tasty, will buy again
Tasteless
Tasteless...........
Great meatballs
I tried the 'finest' meatballs and they were lovely but then I noticed these and they're a little cheaper, so thought I'd give them a go. I think they're great and I can't taste any difference from the more expensive ones! I wish the sell by date was a bit longer but that's my only moan. They taste great with a salad/mayo or tomato-based sauce.
date just said 5 J
meatballs were very high in fat when cooking similar taste to burger ,had them drained /patted with paper towel served with hearty food company tomato and herb pasta sauce, decent mea dont need to spend fortune to feed family.l
Reduce fat content?
I have bought these meatballs several times now. Maybe it is because I just love the taste and I eat more of them in one go than I should that I seem to need to resort to antacid tablets on occasions. So, the other day, when I had some left over I reheated them in the microwave. At the bottom of the container there was a white liquid which I assume is fat that had run out. The meatballs sure seemed less fatty but tasted just as good. So I tried to look for their fat content on the pack and found it is not listed. Maybe I should try Tesco's Low Fat version or Tesco's Finest version where the fat content is given but in each case applies to 4 meatballs, 6.7g and 10.9g, respectively.
The nicest meatballs ever!
