Homegrown?
I get this every week and it is usually very good. Sometimes it says where it is grown but not always. I am only buying UK produce now so come on Tesco up your labelling game.
It’s ok, but Tesco don’t say where it’s from. Why?
It’s ok, but I’m sure it would taste much nicer if Tesco would say where it’s from. Under Produce Of it just says Produce Of. Where on earth is that Tesco, and why don’t you tell us.
No way of knowing if this is BRITISH grown
Where was this grown? I am looking for BRITISH Grown Purple Sprouting Broccoli No details of origin listed so I must buy elsewhere
Purple?
Is this really purple broccoli? I cooked it with a little water in the microwave....and the water was purple, and the broccoli was green...draw your own conclusion! It was tender and tasty and green.
Sprouting Purple broccoli acceptable
If you cut the thicker stems into 3- 4 going up to the floret they microwave very well I found.Maybe I was lucky but mine I could see were very fresh as the cut end off the plant was not brownish. Not as quite as tender or sweet as the organic organic sprouting but acceptable
Produced from where??
This product's packaging does not have anywhere written on it WHERE it was produced. Come to check the website and website has 'Product Of'... blank. Should we guess? We are trying to eat UK grown produce where possible, so will not purchase again until clearly labelled where produced. Also, shame about the needless plastic packaging.
