Purple?

3 stars

Is this really purple broccoli? I cooked it with a little water in the microwave....and the water was purple, and the broccoli was green...draw your own conclusion! It was tender and tasty and green.

Sprouting Purple broccoli acceptable

4 stars

If you cut the thicker stems into 3- 4 going up to the floret they microwave very well I found.Maybe I was lucky but mine I could see were very fresh as the cut end off the plant was not brownish. Not as quite as tender or sweet as the organic organic sprouting but acceptable

Produced from where??

2 stars

This product's packaging does not have anywhere written on it WHERE it was produced. Come to check the website and website has 'Product Of'... blank. Should we guess? We are trying to eat UK grown produce where possible, so will not purchase again until clearly labelled where produced. Also, shame about the needless plastic packaging.

Not a 400g pack. Sort your listing out.

Don't waste your money on this

What a waste of money. Despite steaming (and checking progress of cooking), the end result was a STRINGY, TASTLESS, apology for Broccoli. Does any-one at Tesco check the quality of food they sell?

Wooden stalks!!!

1 stars

I've bought this a few times and always tried to get when in season, but every time only the flowers have be edible. The stalks, even the thin ones, are like wooden twigs however long you cook them for. It's a pity, but I've given up on it now.

loadsa flavour!

when it is available a brilliant steamed veg, staggering amount of flavour compared to the usual prepack broccoli this is the real deal worth the extra for that special meal

I don’t share mine

5 stars

I L O V E this!!! I could eat it until the cows come home... what I need it’s a bigger pack! Was cooked with salt and water, slightly slice the chunky stocks and will cook faster but this broccoli needs to cook for longer. Has a stronger flavour than normal broccoli that I adore. Happy I can buy it here as some places don’t sell it. Bigger pack please!!!!!!.... so I can share with the family :)))
