Much healthier than farmed salmon
I have found this salmon to be uniformly good whenever I have bought it. Farmed salmon can contain lice and much inferior levels of omega 3 oil. I would never buy any other salmon. It is well worth the extra price.

I always buy this salmon as it 's described as wild? however there appears to be a slight indications that it may be farmed, in other words fed with pellets, as it is very expensive it should be totally wild I am becoming very dubious about the origins of many imported foods.

Unfortunately this salmon was very dry and had an almost bitter taste. I bought some previously and thought that I had overcooked it, but tried it again {cooked it for slightly less time} but still very dry. I think that for the money it should be at least edible and a slightly bigger portion.

Healthy fish compared to farmed salmon but once cooked it gets very hard. May be that is hard because tesco froze the fish earlier and defrosted before packing?
Always buy wild caught fish
Really great price for wild sockeye salmon, Wild caught sockeye salmon is significantly lower PCB concentrations than in farmed salmon that is 8xs higher, also the omega 6 which causes inflammation, (as we know inflammation can lead to cancers) brain fog etc is much higher in farmed salmon. Theres approx 341mg of omega 6 in half a filet of wild caught salmon but you can take the same half filet in farmed salmon and it contains approx 2000mg!!! so a hell of a lot of brain fog and will result in you feeling rubbish even though you’ve tried to be healthy. So always buy wild caught, As it’s worth the price tag, you can pay much more at other supermarkets. (Sorry just saw a lot complaining about price but it’s 100% worth the money)
