Maket a tasty treat.
I have had to only give these 4 stars because the tin is smaller than it used to be. I make kipper pate with them. Drain off oil and mix with 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons - or a bit more of dried milk powder, a good shake of caynne pepper, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Mash all together and mix well. Serve on toast with salad. Proud to say that the wife of the head of the milk marketing board asked for recipe after tasting it.
Becoming exspensive for what you get.
The kippers taste really nice but have become 15% smaller.

I've been ordering these quite often lately, they're a tasty and quick meal. I like to saute them in a little butter, with capers and a squeeze of lemon. They don't need cooking so it's just to warm them through, then onto some sourdough toast with some slices of avocado. Yum
Good for a lunch!
It's getting more difficult to find these kippers and they make a tasty lunch! We like to toast one side of bread, spread tomato ketchup on the untoasted side, a kipper on top of the ketchup (sometimes a mashed kipper if it's to do three people) and then cheese on top to finish! Put it back under the grill to melt the cheese and it's delicious!

Delicious always bought from Tesco but dont seem to be stocking it will have to try elsewhere
Absolutely amazing
Great taste, perfect flavour, good portion. Love buying these in bulk. It's a shame, looks like they got discontinued...
Total yum on buttered toast
Found a tin of these kippers in my cupboard during lock-down. I didn't fancy it much but it was eventually opened when there was little else to eat. Expectations were low. But what a surprise these turned out to be! Succulent and packed with taste. Enjoyed straight from the can on homemade bread toasted and buttered with a nice bowl of soup. Nothing else required.
