Great as a milk substitute but little flavour!
Great if you want it as a milk substitute as it has a similar texture and not much flavour, but forget it if you want it to taste of coconut. In that case you're better off with Alpro but that is gloopy so not nice in tea or coffee. Really depends what you want from it, so I buy both :)
I have been using it for years instead of milk. I've tried most of the dairy-free alternatives and found this was the best. Fine in tea or coffee. Doesn't sit heavy on your stomach.
Excellent dairy free milk alternative
This is the best dairy free milk I've tasted, in my opinion. It goes well on porridge, cereal, doesn't separate in hot drinks, I've made custard with it too (with a little plant cream added for creaminess) no need for people who can't eat dairy to go without.
I dont like dairy milk except in chocolate! I love this alternative to milk. I just drink it as it is and find it refreshing, with a slight coconut taste and Its also good to cook with.
I used this regularly for years. Recently found mould growing inside 3 separate cartons. Different batch numbers, all within date and only opened for a couple of days. I will no longer buy.
Try the Lucy Bee one instead, this is horrible
This is horrible. I tasted it neat and noticed it had a bitter twang to it and a nasty after-taste. I persevered and tried some in my coffee, but I ended up pouring it down the sink. 😝 If you are looking for a decent coconut milk, try the Lucy Bee one, it is MUCH nicer.
I have tried most of available milk alternatives available in Tesco and this one is my favourite one. It does not change the structure after adding to hot coffee.
