Probably the best light soy sauce you can buy...
This is a terrific light soy sauce at a great price. Excellent for stir fry's or as a side dipping sauce for Dim Sum. A previous reviewer has mentioned that this is 'Salty'. Well, it's supposed to be, light is used as a seasoning while the darker soy is mostly used to add colour. Try stirring a splash of this together with a very small amount of toasted sesame oil into egg fried rice, it really lifts the flavour. Great product, highly recommended.
Authentic Chinese soy sauce
Lee Kum Kee is the the most common soy sauce in China. You should try this if you want to cook authentic Chinese food.
Best flavour and quality sauce
The best quality light soy sauce! I use all the different sauces from this brand, all excellent, especially the oyster sauce. No other brand does flavour like this.
Great stuff for the money.
I use it in every thing that needs a savoury sauce, from curries and stir fries to meat gravy. It brings out the flavour. I hope the don`t stop stocking it when it become popular. Great stuff.
SALTY, BUT GOOD VALUE.
VERY salty, so you can use at least less than half normally use of a cheaper soy sauce, so lasts a long time and is economical.
Has to be reinstated.
Please try and this sauce available again as it is such a versatile brand. The size of Tesco and no Soy Sauce ? Ridiculous.
Really good quality
Best quality soy sauce i’ve had. Taste is authentic. Goes well with my stir-fry and can be used to marinating too.
OK while it lasted
Afraid to say that this went off in the cupboard after a while. It became rancid and had to be chucked out. Was fine until then, if a little watery. Probably a reason why most of the other Oriental sauces are in much smaller bottles.
