Oak and beech smoked, dry cured rindless back bacon rashers.Tesco Finest dry cure bacon is made from British outdoor bred pigs, cured by hand to a traditional recipe developed by the legendary Woodall family of Cumbria, who first began curing bacon back in 1828. Nearly 200 years later we still follow Woodall’s artisan method of air drying our bacon after dry curing to bring out the best in flavour and texture. Our British outdoor bred pigs are selected for their superior succulence and flavour. All of our pigs come from carefully chosen, trusted farms that are certified to the RSPCA’s higher welfare standards.*Traditionally cured by hand using the Woodall’s family recipe and smoked over oak and beech chips for full flavour. Microwave

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: Chilled: 4-5 mins. Start with the frying pan on a medium heat, add a teaspoon of oil. Fry for 4 minutes, turning halfway through cooking. For extra crispy bacon cook for an additional 1 minute.

GriLL

Instructions: Chilled: 4-6 mins. Grill on a pre-heated medium grill for 4-5 minutes turning halfway through cooking. For extra crispy bacon grill for an additional 1 minute.

Other

Instructions: AIR FRY 180°C Chilled 8 mins. Based on minimum 3.8 litre capacity air fryer. Pre-heat air fryer. Place all bacon rashers in the air fryer in a single layer. Turn halfway through to ensure even cooking.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 6-8 hours in the fridge. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 3 days and by 'use by' date shown.
