Very nice spinach, fresh and easy to cook (3 min in microwave).

Spoilt by packing of shopper

For the last two deliveries the spinach has been squashed into the bottom of the bag containing other vegetables causing it to be wet making it almost inedible. I will stop buying this on line!

Fresh Spinach

3 stars

I always buy a bag of spinach every week as I have it with my scrambled eggs in the morning, it used to last all week with Fridays as fresh as Mondays but the last few weeks I have to throw it away by Wednesday as it has gone damp and smelly. The bags that are delivered have no more than 2 days best by date, but looking around in other supermarkets they seem to be able to supply bags of fresh spinach with longer best by dates-why can't Tesco? Is it not the season for spinach, hence the reason it is not lasting when it has in the past?
