Good thick passata. Tasty. Used in pasta bake with vegetables.
Great taste
A lovely tasting passata. I use this several times a week in a number of dishes. Not too much garlic I generally need to add more when I make bolognaise. Thickens well and consistently good.
Avoid for pizza, too runny
Lack of stock for our usual tomato options for pizza meant we gave this a go - big mistake, it's way too runny to work on pizza and eg is significantly more runny than the Napolina passata (which is OKish for pizza). Didn't seem that garlic/herby, it may be fine for sauces, but don't use this for pizza.
Great for sauce bases
I use this for any Italian ragu base. I prefer it to chopped tomatoes as there’s no bits, it’s sweeter and sharper. It also saves time having to purchase additional herbs/spices. Would definitely recommend.

I love this as it’s a tasty alternative to salty, sugary, bad for you jars of pasta sauce. Try this in your bolognese instead, you won’t regret it. Nice price too.
