Cooking Instructions

Oven cook
Instructions: Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5 50 Mins
Once defrosted do not refreeze. All cooking appliances vary, the following is a guideline. Take Care - product will be Hot.
Preheat oven and remove outer packaging and lid. Fluff crumble with a fork. Place product on a baking tray in the centre of the oven.
Cook for 50 - 55 Minutes, until golden brown. Please ensure product is piping hot before serving.
Serve Immediately.
Not Suitable for Microwave Cooking.
For fan assisted and miniature ovens, refer to manufacturer's handbook for guidelines.

I love crumbles but why & when did someone think it a good idea to start adding oats to them? Why? I don't think oats were in the orignal crumble were they? So why & when did someone start doing this? If it ain't broke, why fix it? it was fine as it was; better in fact.
