Original Cold Pressed Olive Oil

5 stars

Having worked for Etihad, during a layover in Milan, my F&B took me to a back street shop and showed me this oil. At the time it wasn't available in the UK and a LR cost me £3. Now I am delighted to find it in Tesco...for of course 3x more! It is cold pressed and cloudy...thus showing it is indeed cold pressed and not chemically produced like the usual brands. Tastes delicious, raw and olives.

Just right

5 stars

One of the suppliers NOT in the Olive Oil scandal. Tastes good, cooks well, hope Tesco keep stocking this as it's the only Olive Oil I now like to buy.

5 stars

Cold pressed , perfect.

The best EVO

5 stars

We used to make homemade olive oil (from harvesting to squeezing) and this is the flavour that I was used to. I have tried different brands but this is the best so far.

No plastic bottle is an important postive point

5 stars

I would not describe myself as an olive oil connoisseur, if it tastes okay then it's okay for me. It does sort of burn the back of the throat which is a good indication that the antimicrobial effects of the oil are present. Many olive oils do this but not all and I avoid them. A big plus point in the product's favor is that it uses a glass bottle. I will not use oil in plastic bottles because plastic is highly dangerous around food products and leeches in the food. I will not trust food safety guidelines on the claimed safety of various plastics because I know that they are false. None of this applies to this product seeing as it uses a glass bottle. I am not a fan of the locking stopper and do not use it, preferring to use the stopper that comes fitted. Another positive is the price, even at full price it is fairly good value but even better when it can be picked up when discounted. I will continue with this when I can get it.

The best at Tesco

5 stars

The best olive oil available. Almost the same as in Morocco

Tasty, good quality 'special' oil.

5 stars

I have been using this oil solely for some years now. I am glad it is still available in Tesco, and hope it will be around for a long time yet. It has a lovely 'middle of the road' taste; not too bitter. Because I use it sparingly it lasts for ages. The bottle with the old-fashioned stopper is cute but easy to use, and I like the fact that it is cold pressed and unfiltered. Tastes undoubtedly do differ, but I like this quality oil, and have just ordered another bottle.
