Vanda cherries _ fantastic

5 stars

Brilliant. This order for cherries delivered were British Vanda cherries. Plump, sweet, a deep glossy red, absolutely delish

Tasteless. Don’t bother.

Different country of produce=different result!

3 stars

Depending on where it's from, it can be either sweet and flavourful or totally tasteless. First bought a batch from Spain that's absolutely scrumptious (2–3 weeks ago), and the next one from Turkey (last week) was totally tasteless. The last batch wasn't ripe even after the Use By date... It'll be great if the quality can be consistent!

Nasty fruit

2 stars

Had one punnet of cherries that were grown in Spain and they were excellent. Ordered more on the basis of how nice they are only to find this lot are from Turkey. At best, as others have remarked, they are tasteless. Some of them, though, are going off despite looking OK. Maybe with the product being on offer, Tesco used a cheaper supplier - but they are going to get a complaint and a refund request from me and if that is happening a lot it won't work out cheaper for them. Tesco really need to do better quality control. This isn't the only grocery I've had recently that is unfit for human consumption.

Poor Quality Control

2 stars

Bought these as I like cherries, but was disappointed that so many of them were of poor quality, full of nicks and splits in them. I think that Tesco needs to monitor the quality of these so they are worth buying!!

English cherries OMG they were gorgeous, so juicy and sweet, couldn't stop eating them. I bought them when they were on special offer, only 79p a punnet, so glad I bought 2 punnets at the time.

Not good

2 stars

Bought few pack in the past weeks, very crunchy, not juicy and sweet, size is small too

Taste ok, but seemed to have been thrown around.

3 stars

Very disappointing - might have been OK if we had eaten on day of delivery but wanted for a few days later by which case, a large proportion were either furry or rotted. There were also a lot of bruised fruit as if packets tossed around. The ones that were edible had a good taste and texture - hence the three stars - but not worth buying unless you want to eat immediately.

Tasteless, insipid.

These cherries were absolutely tasteless, which is probably why they wee half price. I cooked them and have them with other fruit. Will not buy again.
