Surprisingly good.
I’m trying to reduce my protein intake - half a chicken breast isn’t enough for a mouse! - so I turned to these Quorn pieces, despite my misgivings. And was pleasantly surprised at the taste and texture. Plus low calories, low fat and reduced protein. Really convenient to cook straight from frozen, and lovely with a pile of air-fried vegetables. Also very good with Konjac (Shirataki) noodles. Firmly on my favourites list now. Well done, Quorn!
Perfect
Honestly you cannot tell the difference between quorn chicken pieces and actually meat chicken, Taken into account how you cook the product, I recommend from personal experience wok / fry cooking for 5 minutes with oil salt pepper and spices depending on desired dish then adding to desired meal sauce to simmer. I actually find this a great meat free alternative that is versatile, easy and fast to cook / use. I find this product for me at least tastes better then actually chicken but everyone’s tastes differ so at least try it and put your cooking skills to good use and experiment.
So versatile
Have been buying these regularly since becoming veggie and its meant I've been able to continue cooking some of my favourite dishes! Whether it's in an Indian curry, Thai green curry, stir fry, fajitas, Moroccan stew, these work great in everything. They soak up flavour really well too so actually end up having more flavour than actual chicken which is great.
Please get the VEGAN ones
Please start to get the quorn VEGAN pieces, they are really just as good as these

Pleasantly surprising
Very pleasantly surprised. They didn’t look that appetising when I opened the bag, but once cooked they were great. I’m not a veggie but my husband is a very fussy meat eater, (hates any fat or gristle) making this a great alternative. Good texture, we’ve only tried it in sauce based dishes so far and works really well in them.
Tasty, and works really well with sauces and rice
Delicious. I fry them with a jar of curry-type sauce e.g. tikka masala for about 12-15 minutes, then serve over cooked white rice. Tastes amazing!
Quorn Fan
Quorn converter over here! So high in protein and I’ve finally figured out how to get them to taste good! Make sure you add lots of spices or salt and pepper to them and don’t over cook them! Great alternative to bulking up meals without meat
