happy these are always available.
Firstly,I feel it necessary to speak contrariwise to the numerous negatives expressed in reviewing this product as they are generally false and misleading. 3 times a month I get these, and there is no fault to be found with them - they are fresh always, last at least 2 weeks,I have never needed to discard a single one,and the price is good also. That would be in approximate,15 packs x15 months = 225 fruits, and this next order is containing (wait for it) more of the very same limes. Hand squeezed in the old style with an orange,a little Aspall cider vinegar and a splash of sparkling water is a great and refreshing healthy drink, and limes are chock full of elements very good for the proper functions of the physicality, and those who deny them deny themselves of fundamental advantages.
I wasn’t happy with the recent delivery of limes.
I wasn’t happy with the recent delivery of limes. They were all bad. I shop for my elderly mother and I feel bad for her as it’s a waste of money Please can I receive produce with a longer sell by date.
I've ordered these a few times and they always arrive mouldy with brown patches all over them. Although you get 5 in a pack, they are extremely small so you don't get much juice out of them. I won't be buying again.
Not the freshest limes I have ever received.
9 times out of 10 I have had a decent selection of limes in my home delivery/click&collect order. The limes I received in my most recent order were turning brown or already were brown. I can usually make these last for a while but the quality they arrived in won't last past 6+ days as stated. This particular time I have had a stroke of bad luck with my order overall. Luckily, a lot of stuff I received with short shelf life I am able to deal with by freezing. This works for me but I am aware that some people prefer to just refrigerate and expect what they order to last at least past a couple of days. This is the first time this has happened and it just shows one of the risks to not being in-person to select your groceries accordingly. Just something for customers to bare in mind when shopping for groceries online.
Very small and hard, they're pretty bad. If you want better limes, then buy the ones which are sold loose from Tesco. Those are a little bit better (but also more expensive)
Barely managed to get any juice out of 4 of these limes they were so dry.
The limes are very small ,and they dry out too qui
The limes are very small ,and they dry out too quickly. I use them for making key lime pie, as well as making Lime curds for my cakes and of course on Scones and even breakfast toast, so yummy. because they are so small it works out expensive buying double quantities.
Tesco say 6+ days minimum best before. Ours were 2
Tesco say 6+ days minimum best before. Ours were 2 days out date. So much for staff checking customers get the best dates
I received a pack of 5 limes as substitute for the 1 I ordered. Only one of the five was usable and kept for a week. The others went brown and had to go into the compost.
Not as advertised!!!!
Supposed to be 6+ days fresh, we received the goods on the 10th Sept with a use by date of the 13th. They are already going brown, very disappointed!! :-(
