Nice juicy prawns
Large tasty prawns
These prawns were very good, tasty and succulent
Nice and plump
Delivered on the day I was going to use them; so didn't bother freezing jut popped them in the Fridge. 225G is sufficient for my meal (Blue Dragon Thai green curry kit - outstanding BTW). I expected the bag to be full of water; but no, just big plump King prawns. Cooked some Blue Dragon dried egg noodles in boiling water for a bit to add to the Thai green curry sauce after the Prawns had simmered for about 3-4 mins. And, yes I maybe slightly over warmed the King Prawns but, although they were a bit firm they were NOT chewy at all. Note I'm not connected to Blue Dragon just enjoying their range. John
Underweight 200g not 225g and tasteless
These were very moderate quality and we were surprised they are labelled finest, as they were very tasteless, but most disappointing was they are supposed to be 225g inclusive of ice and were 202 gm inclusive of ice. They were for a recipe so I was left very unimpressed. Also the underweight means Tesco are getting 50p back on every bag they have sold!!
never buy again
very chewy like leather waste of money .
Don't eat farmed prawns
These prawns, as well as others sold by Tesco were farmed in East Asia. You are doing yourself more harm than good by eating them. It's not quality food. There is a reason why they are so cheap. They're contaminated and unfit for consumption. The taste is decent, but that's it.
Tough as leather with no real taste of prawns at all.
great quality food ruined by poor preparation
Large juicy prawns but a shame most weren't de veined. Wont be buying them again.
THEY ARE GREAT VALUE
Wonderful prawns from Tesco, always tasty and beautiful in a creamy tomato chilli pasta.
I ordered these by mistake thought it was as previous order Canadian cooked peeled prawns which are the best ever ,these jumbo prawns are awful overcooked so they are really chewy will make sure don't order wrong again
