Excellent when on offer
More complex than regular expressions of JD, but still has that smoked oak barrel bourbon taste. Very drinkable on its own, and goes well in an Old Fashioned. It smells great, I was almost tempted to splash a bit on. Considering the higher ABV, you wouldn't know. It won't singe the nostrils. There is a slightly weird taste. It's an aftertaste that reminds me of the smell of bread when you've left it to go blue. Strangely, it is still a nice sensation, but the part of my brain dedicated to self preservation says that it shouldn't be consumed. Shut up brain. If I were spending £50, I'd buy something else. I think it's worth around £30, and this is what it drops to when on offer. Makes a great gift as the bottle is very nice. Whip the labels off, sand the branding off the lid, and you've got a nice decanter if you want to "hide" your cheaper whiskey.
Best jack Daniels
we drink whiskey regular we got this as part of a offer was very surprised we both really enjoyed it some whiskey are a never again but this is if on offer we get again
bought as part of a promotion to give as a gift to a jack daniels drinker
Only get this once a year and it's a real special treat
Can really taste the difference. Really smooth and bice on the rocks
Very smooth - no mixer needed!
Lovely, rich flavour - miles better than standard JD which i think is a bit harsh. I would not recommend a mixer with this, it would be a waste of a bottle! For slowly drinking neat.
A new favourite whiskey but a little pricey so maybe just for special occasions. You wont be disapointed.
Great tasting whiskey
This is a much improved version of the original JD, with a lovely, smooth taste, in a very nice bottle. Really enjoyed trying this as part of a promotion and will certainly buy it again.
Found this yo be slighty smoky in flavour - you dont and wouldnt want to spoil it by mixing it with anything else.
Its smooth, very drinkable. Deliciius on its own or with your favourite mixer
