Regional Information

Grown on the banks of the river tagus in central southern Portugal, close to Lisbon. The mild climate gives great conditions for grape growing, giving high quality fruit. Clay and Limestone soils.

Vinification Details

Cold pre-fermentative maceration takes place to form a smooth extraction of flavour, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for around 5 - 7 days at temperatures below 25 degrees. Malolactic fermentation takes place. The wine is aged in oak barrels, mainly French oak for 3 - 6 months. No lees contact
