Preparation and Usage
Beef in Oyster sauce with dried chilli flakes
Cooking Time: 2-3 minutes
Method: Hob
Ingredients:
350g beef sirloin
1 tsp soy sauce
3 tbsp Tesco Oyster Sauce
1 1/2 tbsp ground nut oil or vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
Pinch of dried chilli flakes, sugar, salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method:
1. Bash beef with the back of the knife until half as thin. Slice beef into thin pieces, season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and ground black pepper. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in a wok, then add garlic and stir fry until golden.
3. Add the beef to the wok and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked but still pink in the middle.
4. Sprinkle dried chilli flakes and serve immediately.
To Serve:
Serve with cooked jasmine rice.
