Tastes like soda water with hint of real Doom Bar

1 stars

A Tesco Customer6UK February 2021

Was my go to beer a year or two ago. It is now like someone has put a drop of Doom Bar (from a pub) into a glass and then topped up the rest with soda water. It’s more soda water than beer tasting. Please don’t waste your money thinking it’s just a bad batch, I’ve bought a few I’ve the last year or so thinking the same and it’s never any better. Kegs are the same, if you feel there’s a way to get around it and drink the pub version at home.

I was brought up in Leicester, and always drank in places that sold BASS ALES all places that sold this ale was popular and always crowded.it was brewed in Burton upon Trent. .Why I am saying this is because DOOM BAR is the only ale that I have encountered that could surpass the experience of downing a pint of BASS.Its wonderful... Thank you so much, and never change it.
