Preparation and Usage

  • If using a bread machine, you can use the yeast direct from the sachet, adding it to your bread pan in the order specified by the manufacturer's instructions, keeping the yeast separate from the salt and sugar. Good yeast - longer date when bought in store

Use this yeast a lot to make homemade bread. V happy with it I have however noticed that if you buy online the best before date is much shorter than if bought in shop.

Use the machine to do the work then bake in tins

Been using this for years to make excellent bread by starting in bread-maker then after about 30 mins when machine beeps I transfer dough to normal bread tins for loafs or rolls or baguettes or pizza or a combination.

Ever since I purchased my first bread maker, many years ago I’ve always used Tesco dried yeast. It’s never let me down and it’s cheaper than the branded recommended by the makers manufacturers
