I use a lot of olive oil since I spent a short while living in Florence many years ago. I cook with coconut oil, so this raw oil is drizzled over my food for almost every meal, used for dressings too! I LOVE IT!! On investigation I found out that Tesco Tuscan olive oil is the one of the purest, unadulterated olive oils on the market. (The olive oil industry has become infiltrated with cheaper oils being mixed with pure oils, because demand outstrips supply.) I have always found the purest olive oils to have a bitter after-taste, that is the nature of the beast. Dont decry this oil because, in my opinion, it tastes exactly like it should!
Never again.
I can’t believe how bad this tastes if this is the finest I fear for the cheap stuff. Never again.
Yum the best
Very tasty and thicker than the cheaper versions , I’ve had ones that have been more watery. I use this for cooking and drizzled on salads or avacado egg
Unless I picked up a bad batch, - one to avoid
I don't usually leave reviews, unless I feel really passionate about the product as I do with this one. I use a lot of olive oil and look for one's on offer. With this, however, I thought I would treat myself to what seemed to be reasonably priced for a 'Finest' item. Big mistake! It tastes awful. I made a dressing with it and it was completely unpalatable. It has a bitter after taste and not in the least bit fruity. Hey ho, you live and learn. Sorry manufacturers, but I would go back to the drawing board with this one.
sunshine sensation
It was just unbelievably yummy— makes you dream of beautiful summer days, the flavour feels like sunshine on your back.
For this price, this oil is an absolute steal. We
For this price, this oil is an absolute steal. We have visited this area and the oil is very typical of this region.
Tuscan gold
Probably the best oil you can buy
