The filling of these mince pies has a sour and vinegary taste that lingers long after you have pushed the plate away in disappointment . The pastry is pretty dry and dull too. A waste of money. I would never buy these again.
Absolutely beautiful buttery mince pies with a juicy filing not to sweet for my taste and no palm oil. Lovely, sorry they are out of stock !
Really enjoyable mince pies
Really enjoyed these mince pies. Plenty of filling and very moist. I usually warm my mince pies but they were equally as good eaten cold.
Pastry dry, terrible taste. Filling nasty, musty taste threw out for the birds even they wern't keen. Would not buy again.
Very poor quality pastry to be labelled 'Finest'.
Very poor quality pastry to be labelled 'Finest'. Any school kid could do better.
Taste good, look scruffy
The pastry is nice, the flavour is good, but the lids have been put on all wonky. It spoils the look of the pies.
Absolutely delicious. Gorgeous melt-in-the-mouth pastry, and the mincemeat not runny like other mincepies. Just enough alcohol to enhance the taste. I love them, wish we could buy them all year round.
Love these although pastry slightly dry
Quality control issue
Everything about these pies was just ok. Nothing special or deserving to be in the finest range. The presentation was particularly poor. I certainly wouldn't want to offer them to visitors. Would not buy again and looking for an alternative for over Christmas.
Finest Mince Pies
These really are the "Finest" - lovely pastry and full of juicy fruit, with a great taste. Oh yes, and good value for money too.
