Ingredients
Each 5 ml of syrup contains 2 mg of chlorphenamine maleate as the active ingredient. Also includes sucrose, ethanol and a mixture of methyl, ethyl and propyl hydroxybenzoates (E218, 214, 216). Preparation and Usage
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use. DOSAGE For oral use. Please use the two-headed spoon provided. 1-2 years Dosage: One small 2.5ml spoonful twice daily at least 4 hours apart. Maximum dose in 24 hours: Two small 2.5ml spoonfuls (5ml) 2-6 years Dosage: One small 2.5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours. Maximum dose in 24 hours: Six small 2.5ml spoonfuls (15ml)6-12 years Dosage: One large 5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours. Maximum dose in 24 hours: Six large 5ml spoonfuls (30ml) Adults and children over 12 years Dosage: Two large 5ml spoonful (10ml) every 4-6 hours. Maximum dose in 24 hours: Twelve large 5ml spoonfuls (60ml) Elderly: Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine as you may need to take a lower daily dose. Children under 12 months: Not recommended.
