Never available!
Love this but it's never available!
Not as good as I would have liked.
Not great for pastry. I have just used this for pastry for mince pies and it was not that good, I normally use half plant butter and half something like Trex to give the shortness for the short crust pastry. This time I used half Tesco baking block as I couldn't find Trex, and the pastry is rather hard. I have redone more mince pies with ALL Flora Plant Butter and the results are much better. P.S, Gordon Ramsay's method for short crust using a food processor works very well.
Great Stuff
I love this for pastry making. Have used it for over 30 yrs.
This is no good for making pastry.
This is no good for making pastry.
Tough
Awful having made pastry for many years this gave me the first failure pulled all the steak out and fed it to the dogs the pastry binned feel sure it would have grounded the birds ! Plus it is made of palm oil
Great for pastry
Use this all the time for making pastry. Perfect!
Vegan butter substitute at less half the price
It's a perfect dairy free butter substitute, my daughter is dairy intolerant so I use this in all my baking including icing, it's perfect and much cheaper than vegan or plant based butter substitutes, I've been using it for years for pastry, cakes etc
Tractor grease
This stuff should not be allowed in the human food supply, it is not food. Bring back the lard!
I use for pastry - its ideal straight out of fridg
I use for pastry - its ideal straight out of fridge, if using for cakes I let it warm at room temp first.
Great price
I use this baking block every time I make a cake. Ideally I leave it out of the fridge for a while before using it. It makes the perfect buttercream and is far nicer than Stork. I've tried Tesco unsalted butter but for some reason its a lot sweeter so I much prefer this product.
