Preparation and Usage

  • 1. Preparation:
  • - Always perform an Allergy Alert Test 48 hours before each time you colour, even if you've used the product before
  • - Before applying your colour, cover your clothing with an old towel/cape and put on gloves provided
  • - Apply to dry, unwashed hair
  • 2. Mixing:
  • - Unscrew nozzle of Developer Lotion, pierce the LIVE Colour Cream tube and carefully squeeze the entire contents into the Developer Lotion bottle.
  • - Replace the application nozzle and shake until all components are thoroughly mixed.
  • 3. Application:
  • - Follow application process for either first-time or root regrowth application
  • - Leave formula to develop for 20-30 minutes
  • 4. Rinsing:
  • - Rinse hair under warm water until water runs clear
  • 5. Conditioning:
  • - Apply LIVE Care Conditioner and leave in for 2 minutes
  • - Rinse thoroughly, hair is left feeling soft and shiny
  • The colour result will depend on your natural hair colour. The table on the back of the pack provides an indication of the colour result that can be obtained with this shade. Results may vary on previously coloured hair. For long or thick hair we recommend using two packs.

I have used this colour in the past, but not coloured my hair permanently for a while, so decided to stick to what I've used in the past. But, it's gone bright orange! Don't know if the formula has changed, but I got a shock! Not happy at all, especially since I have to go to my new job tomorrow.

Honestly everyone! Same! I was real red previously for 6 years and was obsessed with the colour! Very loyal to the real red live! Now, it's bright orange! Who knows why it's changed. Shame though, I now have to find a different brand :( huge shame! Used to be the best red!

For dark coloured hair this turn out great for me. Due to dark base colour, it turn out burgandy red which looks great too. For medium brown or blonde hair i believe the red would be more vibrant. But i love the burgandy colour it turn out for me!

I purchased this colour i always use live and I went for a different colour today which was this real red one I've dyed my hair and it isn't red at all it's dyed my hair bright orange and I'm extremely unhappy I have serve mental health and no self confidence I was hoping this might help me with that and but it's sent me the complete opposite and has made me worse I've had to send my partner out to get me a different dye as I will not leave my house

I used to use this dye all the time about 2 years ago and it would always be bright red as described however now it gone all orange. I spent ages growing out the red before and now recently I missed it so I tried it again because I trusted the product but now I'm orange ! I don't know what has happened! It's virgin hair and now has really strong orange tones. Has the formula changed ? What is going on?
