Undrinkable.

1 stars

This wine was bought on price, but even at such a low price you expect the wine to be "fair" at least. On first opening the wine was rough but drinkable. We sealed it for the next day. Tomorrow came and the wine was sparkly and dreadful. we tried a second bottle with the same result.

Beaujolais-Villages

4 stars

It is very nice, and well worth buying for as long as it remains at £4.15 and you continue to deliver it at that price, or a fiver maximum. But it is not as good as the Beaujolais Rouge, which was astounding value at £4.50 and which you have sadly now stopped selling.

Yum yum

This is my staple French everyday wine, nothing fancy but suits me

A good Beaujolais

5 stars

I really enjoy Beaujolais as an every day drinking wine. It is not a complex or sophisticated wine, but I like the simplicity and freshness of it and this Beaujolais Villages is a really good example of this type of wine. It has really good fruit flavours, is not too thin and a real 'earthy' fresh taste.

Good light French red

4 stars

A light bodied wine that was easy to drink, and good value for the price.

emperors new clothes

1 stars

very average wine and too expensive, any bottle of 5 pound aussie wipes the floor with it,the French and Spanish have for years been sending us their rubbish at this sort of price but are having to send us some better cheaper wnes because of the aussie sales being so good.

Better at the top of the bottle

3 stars

The product description is true for this wine: very good flavours of blackcurrant and raspberry, and a good medium body - better than some cheap Beaujolais. However, after really nice first glasses each, our second glasses from the bottle were rather cloudy and not as tasty, and there was an enormous amount of sludgy sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

ideal for in laws

2 stars

bought on price and its hardly georges du boeuf, but its cheap and cheerful plonk to ply in-laws and random guests. Good way of keeping large gathering of folks cheaply plyed without expense.

Red wine

Lovely body red wine. Delivery quick and on time. Price good

Exceptional Value

4 stars

A very nice typical Beaujolais at a remarkable price after applying discounts available at the time of purchase.
