Bought this for Christmas it was terrible, my daughter and I had to throw it away
Disappointing
Not good quality. Have had much better Tesco champagnes. Very acidic
Pleasant but not special
Pleasant but rather bland. I was surprised to see the recent comments about the excessive acidity of this wine, we have found it slightly sweet. On a 1-10 scale we would put it at 2. Other own label champagnes at a similar price have more character and distinctiveness.
Disappointing and very acidic
I’ve had this Champagne a couple of times before and it was very good. However this last bottle I bought was very disappointing. As other reviewers have found it was incredibly acidic and not at all pleasant to drink. I see that Tesco now recommend it to go with fish and chips. I assume they mean to pour it on the chips in lieu of vinegar! I shan’t be buying another bottle. Save your money and buy a good Cremant de Bourgogne.
Much too Acidic!
Really disappointing when compared to other 'value' champagnes from other from Tesco being far too acidic and quite harsh. I guess that each person's palette is subjective, however this is the second bottle of the same wine bought within 6 months and both had the same characteristics. Won't be purchasing this one again!
Wow
This champagne is amazing. I was so drunk on Christmas Day.
