Hovis holds the Honours
The whole meal loaf was already dry on opening, no smell and mould appeared within 4 days. Feeds the birds more than us. The flavour was poor. I changed to Hovis and am so glad - soft, fresh smelling, lasts the week and us still soft and mould free. This may be due artificial preservatives but I trust this bread much more

The best sliced bread.
The best sliced bread there is. The only issue is the expiration date... STILL it's the best.
Disappointing loaves
I have used Warburtons Wholemeal bread for many years. Recently this became unavailable. When it reappeared on the shelves it was labelled mild and soft. I have to say that the loaves I have bought recently, all within the use by date, have been dry and very disappointing. I have resorted to trying other makes but cannot find another bread which comes up to the standard of what Warburtons has been in the past. I do keep trying the occasional Warburtons loaf in the hope that it will improve again.
Mouldy day after best before.
It didn’t feel very fresh and had a sell buy date of 22nd August 2020. Was mouldy by 23rd! I normally freeze leftover bread but hoped for at least another day. Stored in larder out of sun.

i used it for toasting and vegetable wraps I also used for sandwiches the only down side is that it has only two days life on it
Tasteless
There was no taste in this bread and it was a bit dry too. Will not buy again. I usually have Kingsmill tasty whole meal which seems unavailable now. Disappointing for a brand which over all I do like.
