Used to be fabulous biccie, now usually burnt!
Plain Hobnobs have been my favourite biscuit for many years and I buy and eat them very (too!) regularly...! However over about the past year, they’ve really deteriorated. Almost every pack I buy now is burnt or over-baked. Sometimes it’s the whole pack, whereas others it’s the first 5 or so biscuits in a pack. It’s so frustrating but I will have to stop buying my favourite snack soon, because they’re unreliable and the burnt taste is really unpleasant. Such a shame. I see another reviewer has commented on same issue and recommends Tesco own brand alternative. I’ve always been happy to pay the extra for the Mcvities “real deal” which used to be superior but I think I am going to have to abandon my habit!

Over Cooked / Burnt
Have been buying and enjoying these for many years. But...for the last few months, every pack(from different batch numbers) have been "well" over cooked / burnt. They taste burnt and are currently awful. I think Mcvities must have employed a descendant of King Alfred to overlook the baking! Will be buying Tesco's own version from now on which in my opinion are far superior.
These aren't a patch on the hobnobs I used to buy
These aren't a patch on the hobnobs I used to buy years ago. These are more like digestive biscuits, which I have always disliked. I must remember not to buy again.

Tasty little tea time treat!
This legendary biscuit has truly stood the test of time. 40% rolled oats gives it that wonderful, oaty taste which will linger long. Accept no imitations. Perfect at any time of day or night with tea, coffee or hot chocolate. The best biscuit there has ever been for dunking.
could not eat them far to sweet
