MSG!
MSG - I won't be buying these given they contain it! What more can I say?
Half of the cubes are unusable
Every other cube is soft and damp as though they have been badly stored somewhere along the line.
For those struggling with crumbling a cube
Unfold the foil flaps (both sides), put it on your counter and use a tin/cup to gently press or roll over the top of the cube. Do the same on the other side of the cube. Then hold the now-flattened cube above a jug/pot and tear the foil wrapping open.
Hard to crumble ? oh deary me ...
Add a little really boiling water to the oxo to disperse it. And if it doesn't do it quickly enough for you. shove it in the microwave a few seconds, then stir !
Used to be much better
These are impossible to crumble these days. Never used to have a problem, but I now find I have to cut them up which makes them fiddly to use.

Really hard
Lovely flavour but impossible to crumble sadly so am going to try another brand why are they so hard ?
VERY difficult to crumble.
I agree with the previous review. VERY difficult to crumble. Either too hard or very sticky. I also find there is no problem with the beef stock cube. Such a shame because I have always used oxo but I am contemplating using a different brand chicken stock cube in the future.
Impossible to crumble!
Lately I've been finding these impossible to crumble. They are rock hard and have to be dissolved in boiling water, so not ideal. The vegetable and beef ones are fine so I don't know why the chicken ones have this problem.
