Poor quality
I have regularly bought a Galia melon as part of my order and they used to be lovely and sweet. However over the last few weeks the melons have been much smaller and of poor quality. Although ripe, they are quite tasteless and barely sweet. Please Tesco, improve the quality of your fresh fruit and vegetable produce, as this isn’t the first item I have removed from my online shopping list. Quality is more important than price for me.
Repeatedly received very dented, bruised and quick
Repeatedly received very dented, bruised and quick to rot. Have thrown several away. I returned the latest one that was delivered to us and will not buy more until the quality improves. A shame, as we love this variety of melon.
Love the flavour
I love these Melon's for their flavour. I refrigerate them if not ready to eat then keep at room temperature for 2-3 days, near bananas because they give off a natural gas which ripen fruit. Test for ripeness by pressing the end for softness if there is no give it's not ready. Also smell it for ripeness. Enjoy them as I do.
Sweet and Aromatic
long shelf life, aromatic and sweet. It is a lovely fruit along with my breakfast
Soft & Soggy

Bruised and disappointing quality
Very light and bruised, meaning that it wont be juicy or sweet. Quite disappointed

Better off eating a cucumber
Been maturing for 3 weeks and it's still rock hard, tasteless and very little edible flesh
Hard and tasteless
Was hard and tasteless, very disappointing and couldn’t eat it.
Disappointing!
I received this melon tonight and was unhappy with both the quality and size. Covered in marks and the size of a large grapefruit, I won’t be ordering this again!
