Preparation and Usage

Remove all packaging, discarding absorbent pad.

Allow meat to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before roasting.

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.

Oven

Instructions: 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4 Rub or brush the joint with a little oil and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Place joint in a roasting tray and cover tightly with foil. Place in the centre of a pre-heated oven. For a medium roast cook for the recommended time on the front of the label (6 minutes per 100g). A medium roast will be pink in the middle. For a well done roast cook for 8 minutes per 100g. A well done roast will be brown right through. Remove foil for the last 15 minutes of cooking time. Remove from the oven and allow the joint to rest for 10 minutes before removing the strings and carving.

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.
